Been in exactly the same situation with Will at Whilton in 2008.

Will on pole, second place man creeping ahead and backs off, just as the lights go green and Will floors it, thus getting a handsome lead of a kart length or so.

Called into clerks office to see K***h, as Ch****n had seen it all from his vantage point near the top part of the paddock between Ashby and the Boot!!!!!!!!!!

Docked some time to drop us to 3rd (I think) from a comfortable heat win.

No amount of talking changed the situation, I followed it up in writing later, stating in reasonable terms why I thought we had been wronged (and how can you possibly jump the start as pole man). We got no real response worth repeating, and at the very next meeting Will got done for.... too slow a start from pole and holding the pack up unnecessarily!!!!!!!!!!

The meeting with K***h included the comment that we had written to the club previously to question his decisions and presumably his authority! Need I add more? We voted with our feet and don't race there now (apart from the Festival).
