Firstly, If they are going to race against each other, make sure they have different frequencies.

From our experience a Ł50 or Ł80 electric won't be much good off road, unless it is dry gravel / dirt. I would tend to go with the cheaper option at that price.

We have just moved up to Nitro Cars and they are tremendous fun, but you need a massive area to run them in.
