We've got an 07 Tony Viper and an 08 JKH and they are both flattened as we have never run chassis protectors, but the flattening is only really in the centre of the chassis we don't have any problem at the front. I presume this is because the chassis bends and flex's most in the centre. Does anyone know if it would be ok to put a sacrificial line of weld in these areas as suggested by Russ in an earlier thread on this subject?
