I have a sneaky feeling that karting is now as cheap in real terms than it ever has been.

I can remember when we sold a rolling chassis for seventy quid, but Ł12.10.0 was a pretty good wage then!

Proper racing tyres, not the rubbish we used 50 years ago, are cheaper.
