Might be a silly question to some but im new to karting, When is it time to get some more slicks? Is it when you get flush with the tyre depth hole?

Im not doing MSA racing but just club stuff (ie airfield).

If you have any sets of good used rotax kart tyres that you dont want would prob do me well.
