hi paul!

i havn't been to a club meeting where they have marked wet tyres! so you can do what you want! as long as you are using the correct type of wet tyre for your class!

you are correct with inters just worn down tyres, the more water on the track the more tred depth you need to get to the tarmac! i believe for damp new tyres would give the same performance as used ones, but why wear the new ones out when the scrubbed ones will do the same job! obviously when there is standing water go for the 'newer the better policy!'

wet tyre pressures i'm going by TKM wets here have no idea what other classes are like! pump them up about double what you would be using in the dry if there is a lot of standing water! and then if its only damp about the same as your slicks!
