No you can not by the seals on there on and you can not stop the dust etc getting into the bearings.
They will wear out faster and heat up as the lubricant can not stay there very well being open and when they heat up they can slightly seize or restrict the movement.
Good if you are using Tri-flow its a great lubricant .
Those that think having no seals is better are WRONG !!!
