They were set at Hooton, the old circuit layout, 3 sisters Club circuit, both of which have since been beaten by Jake by a few hundredths, the two which still stand are Hootons new circuit layout and Teeside autodrome.

I agree that a lot are set using the MSA spec fuel but this is because you have to use it for stars and S1 where a lot of the records are set.

Given the choise of MSA spec and Tesco standard unleaded then I, along with a lot of Stars/S1 competitors would use forecourt fuel.
