(the reason for missed meeting points should be obvious. If you miss all the rounds and come last in a group of, say, 10 out of a national total of 40 you end up with 40/10*10= 40 points.
On the other hand someone who came last in a group of 20, but attended all the rounds gets 40/20*20 = 40 points as well.
The idea that someone who has done all the rounds should score higher than someone who has done none.
For each regional round not attended one scores 3 points (to a maximum of 12) which are added to the scores after the Grande Final. So not attending any regional round adds 12 points to your Final score
This has the same effect as, say, starting pole and finishing 12 in the Final.
