Dave before the MSA ban the Zip nose cone they will need evidence that it is dangerous not just a few people posting that view on a forum.
I have seen karts filp when one wheel goes over another and that is with both karts going the dsame way.
Would you be happy if the MSA said that from today you can only race if you fit new side pods that fully enclose the wheels? If they did that then this forum would be full of people screaming for evidence that this was needed and accusing the MSA of helping traders to make money.
In his post THR stated that he is pretty sure the neck brace helped cause the broken collar bone - should all neck braces be banned? I appreciate he also said that perhaps the injury could have been worse without the neck brace but that is only a guess whereas he is pretty certain the injury was partly because of the brace.
The proposed helmet regulations probably won't affect us as we move to juniors later this year but I have raised some concerns about it with John Ryan - and had a prompt reply.
