No you are correct ,and thats the issue .

And its not every lap , as last month sometimes it was reading and sometimes it wasn't , maybe 3 50 second laps in a 12 lap session .

so mu understanding would be ,set as if for 2 strips ,and set the obsuring time to long enough to have passed the middle one .

That should give correct lap times every lap .

Alternatively if Rye could get this sorted ASAP as i belive its been said there has been an issue for some months .

Track Improvements there are great and are making the place look great , however that will be an issue .

Either that or completely remove the duff strip and inform everyone that there are now only 2.
