I read about this a week or two ago when it was first announced. I'm really not quite sure what they're trying to achieve by this as the consequences are far reaching for drivers, teams and of course the kart industry as a whole. If I was to be honest, it looks like the CIK are suffering from a similar level of incoherent governance as the FIA.
