Some very interesting reading. I have to say, my son, still very much a learner, was in that race. I have to agree with some of what Dave is saying. From the rolling start, it was clear he was not going to be caught, he was off like a rocket. Nothing to do with smooth cornering, they hadn't got there yet but the other 'good' club kart's and drivers were left for dead.
Make no mistake, that young man is a skilled craftsman at what he does and I hope my boy learns from his like, (if he can get close enough to see) but I'd love to see how my boy would do with an engine that pulls like that.
