Hubby was quite suprized at the weekend, when a little driver came off at billy's did a nice air flip out of the kart and ended up in the middle of the circuit with the Kart on his head at the start of the race.
The marshalls red flagged it and went running to stop and remove said kart from on top of driver and extract driver. Sort of logical, but you should of heard one of the S1 marshalls tear strips of the club marshalls for waving red because he hadnt sanctioned it, and in front of the spectators.

I know that technically there is probably a rule somewhere that states that it is the COC decision to declare red flag, and probably for good reasons too, but hey ...lets have a little professionalism ...the telling off could have been more discrete if nothing else.
I would prefer a red flag anyday for any driver that was in the same position.
