Everyone is stating the rule which we know but the point is it should be changed. If people come off and cause a red flag, faking it or not, they shouldn't remain in the results. If they aren't allowed to rejoin the race if it was re run then why should they be in the results. It really doesn't make sense and the two rules don't seem to link together.

Even worse is that the guy who caused it through driver error or whatever is let off with it and even given his place and then ends up with one of the highest point scores from the round!

I feel really strongly about this and a rule change would perhaps stop people trying to fake a red flag too, which i am sure many people would now do after the weekend's incident. It really needs to be looked in to.
