Although the track were in the wrong it does sound a bit odd. You have 126 entries so need two ambulances. then you get one injury and ambulance has to leave site. Now you still have 125 entrants with one ambulance so does racing have to stop?
I would have thought that with Larkhall being so close to a major town they could get a 999 service to the track to collect the injured person and then retain their single ambulance on site.
Obviously the track got it wrong and should have had two ambulances arranged but the 100 rule does not seem to allow for local circumstances.
