How would reducing the numbers have helped. Surely the rules are that on race day you have to have an ambulance available at all times.
If you have two and both have to go off site then racing has to stop.
Is there a rule that says `if less than 100 are racing then no ambulance is needed?'
Sorry if this is a daft question but it seems to me that an accident requiring an ambulance could happen with 30 entrants 0- after all you can have a grid of 30!
