The quicker Rotax come up with a bush, be it sintered brass, phosphor bronze or what ever and get rid of the needle roller bearing the better. Ther is no need to lubricate a bush mentioned above, and it would also get rid of the 11 tooth nylon bush (which rocks the new clutch drums too much). I my opinion (based on 3 super 1's this year the biggest problem is the tyres. What is the point of buying new tyres on Friday and Saturday to practice on just to find the S1 tyres are .4 seconds slower. We had crap S1 tyres at Wilton Mill, a good set at Rowrah, and a crap set last weekend at buckmore. All this talk about clutches just pailes into insignificance compared with the problems with the tryes. Mike Simpson (snr)
