enjoy his karting and your right it is the most important thing! im not worried about this lad racing with us at our track and infact hope he returns next month as he said to us before he left. i only hope that next time he runs a clubby standard engine to let our lads mix it up with him and learn a bit, as it was a one horse race to be honest and pointless? why bother travelling a few hundred mile to race out on your own, the point i was making was that if that is what you have to contend with then it would be a pointless exercise entering the likes of fks without the backing financially. i mean lets be honest, for the cost of a seasons racing in a national championship, for anyone to say that they have entered for the "experiance" without seriously thinking their lad could race of to victory are kidding themselves, we all want our kids to be the best and think they are capable, thats, as you have pointed out, our doing and not the kids.

i agree with everything you said earlier, just not about the worring about visitors to our track. lol
