I take it that you havent raced a motorcycle then Dan k1, Try riding at oulton park in the summer, i generally would have had two tear offs fitted. And fitted correctly by the arai service lads, so the tab would have been shaped and easy too pull off, no flapping around as the edges were fixed down with small pieces of tape. Not a rush job if you want it done properly.

I do struggle to understand why someone wants to use a tear off in karting when you are not allowed to tear it off,kind of defeats the object i think!
