I spoke with the landowner/airfield at Felton about re-opening the circuit.
Unfortunately, there is a council noise order on the land. This was placed against the airfield due to a'weekend resident' complaining about the noise of light aircraft landing at the airfield on a Sunday. This order was placed long after race circuit had closed.
It would virtually be inpossible to have the order revoked, since all light aircraft must not fly after 7.30pm and 7.30pm. Karting would be out of the question.
Northumberland Ambulance Service used the circuit for driver training occasionally.
