i have taken the plunge and bought a set of lasers. we are going to concentrate on chassis set up and driving before we go down the route of having the engine tuned. we have an 06 intrepid silverstone pro, with minimax with 10kg's of lead( 4 on the side of the seat, 2 on the back of the seat and 4 on the floor tray in front of the tank). my son's driving is very smooth ( he can fast and furious if he wants ). when he pushes very hard he seems to slide wide on the exit of the turns and looses time. is it best to use the lasers whilst he is in the kart or use them on the stand? what would be a nuetral starting point for the front set up? ( caster, camber, etc). does weight distribution really play a part in the bigger picture? any advice would be appreciated. we are new to this and are trying to get the basics right first!!
