Why do we always have to be so far behind everyone else when it comes to matters like this. The Americans have already covered this very important area of safety and fit for younger drivers. Impact whos helmets are available from most UK suppliers (Demon Tweeks ect.) in adult sizes produces the following:-

The mini vapor and mini champ youth helmets are SFI 24.1 approved (youth helmet standard) for QMA/WKA/NHRA/IKF use. Featuring expanded chinbar design and interchangeable cheekpads for a custom fit.

I contacted John Ryan at the MSA regarding this standard and if it would be adopted in the UK but never got any reply.

What are we to do??????
