Does the display come up ok when you push both red buttons for 2 seconds then release or is the display off permenantly .
You could try a full reset where the display will go clear then the figures will come back in a sequence that looks like a load of number eights then returns to a normal info display .
Off the top of my head cannot remember button sequence but download instructions off web or look in the manual for how-to .
