i would say yes, basically, you give the jet tech software a set of figures to work from, so on the day, lets say it reads 1013 mb 50%humidity 15c, you set your carb engine to work at its best by testing and changing jets/needles/clip positions until you are happy with the engine performance,you enter what you have and the current weather, then you lock the system, so when the conditions change and you enter them into the relavent boxes it will work out the different air to fuel ratio needed for the current conditions, so as long as it has a reference point to work from, it should be fine
