just my 2p' George...

I love the tech side of things in all motorsport and can see where you are coming from.

With data logging I could capture a season of data in a few sessions so dont worry about the comparison of buying other stuff/visiting circuits over and over. Once you have been to your chosen race circuits and have spotted the trend in setup that comes with logging you will dial in the kart far faster than those that just circulate and dont take into account all the variables.

I gathered data in a session and debunked lots of pitlane myths while doing it.

I also became a pain to my driver when I wanted to try off the wall settings to see what would happen.

All good fun and very expensive.

My foray into karting data logging was a few years ago so I cannot comment on gps.
