Dan,
You gave me some advice a couple of weeks ago regarding my lad's racesuit.
I mentioned that the scrutineer had picked up on the fact the homologation expired in 2008 and had been told i would need to buy a new suit.
Anyway, i took your advice and after reading K106 of the blue book i presented the suit at scrutineering and just like you said he didn,t have a clue about the rules regarding the dates on suits.
His face was a picture when i showed him the article in the blue book. He even asked me to give him the page number because he hadn,t realised the dates were virtually meaningless.
He told me he was still waiting for the scrutineers buletin from the MSA , I had to tell him it was not a new rule.
The only downside was i could see him checking the suits of the people in front of us in the queue [ and there were a lot ], i just hope they don,t go out and buy a suit because he was unsure of the rules.
