The main difference for me is the power delivery. As Ian rightly says, the 125gb kart IS a beast, it's an incredibly physical thing to drive. On short circuits your left arm has to be very strong as the right arm is never holding the steering wheel. It's actually quite brutal and your natural rhythm has to be spot on as any mistakes are severley punished by dropping out of the powerband.
The Aixro on the other hand is the exact opposite. Incredibly smooth power delivery all the way through the rev range. No gears to worry about, but setting the kart up to take advantage of the power is critcal. It's no use having all the power in the world if you can't get it to the track. Front brake 'virgins' will have to get used to how deep you can go into the corners too.
It is quite 'easy' to drive, but that's easy for me to say I suppose having been lucky enough to drive lots of different things over the last 20 years. It's certainly NOT for novices.
