when storing fuel in container always try and make sure you can fill it to capacity to avoid water accumulation due to the air gap causing condensation, because petrol has a fairly low specific gravity water will seperate quite quickly and fall to bottom of conatainer rather than staying suspended in the fuel, you can never filter fuel to much.
