I agree Ian... when you compare the last few years with the situation in 1970s or 1980s our karting industry's a shadow of what it was. I was referring to the last 5 years or so when the Italian behemoths got a stranglehold.

Let's not forget Rotax too. While we have the option of choosing a British made chassis, we can't really do a lot about the engine [or its parts] in Britain's most popular class. Anyone get an idea of how much Rotax motors and parts prices will be increased by ?

It gives TKM TaG BT82 a leg up though.
