visor strip is the easy option...depending on the conditions we just use a strip of gaffa tape sometimes 1 1/2 inches wide as long as my son can see straight out of the visor...doesnt matter what is above his eve line.

tape is cheeper than fancy expensive visors, plus clear ones are good for in the wet.
