I'm not sure how high they were revving, but they certainly weren't screaming - maybe 10k. We didn't have rev counters.

I wasn't aware of any other major problems, just the batteries. Credit to Daytona for that, getting a fleet of 2-strokes through a 24hr race without any major failures is pretty impressive.
