How I envy you, our 'lad' is grown up now and sadly not racing at the moment (Uni fees, mortgage etc) We loved it (although love/hate experience is closer to the mark) We live a bit further south than you (Highbridge area) but our local tracks were Clay Pigeon and Dunkeswell.
Get down there on a practice day as soon as you can, most karters are friendly and helpful, especially for a youngster. Good luck.
Happy Christmas & a good new year to all at Clay & Dunks and thanks for providing Karen and I with enjoyable racing to watch (when we can make it)
