I broke, not cracked, but broke 2 ribs while wearing a foam only vest. They DO NOT work and I feel very strongly that the should be withdrawn from the market as they're unfit for purpose.

I have not used the K1 vest here but from what I can see on the site, it would appear to be a high desity foam-only vest. A quick scour of the net says that 'Jumbolon' is a Jamaican company that makes foam. Maybe Dan who runs K1 could come on and confirm.
