Have you looked into Easykart? A large percentage of the drivers are run on this basis (storage, transport, prep and karts looked after at the races and practice days). It might therefore suit you better and be a lot more cost effective than getting someone to run you in a Max.

The travelling may not suit you however if you are particularly short of time as the racing calendar is 8 races spread across the country (more variation, but less convenience)
