Hi all,

I am working on some projects to get top line Karting (eg Britsh Champs) onto a platform next year, with appropriate backing etc. and wanted to hear what you thought.

Sadly this year with the extinction of MotorsTV (www.kartingtv.tv has been shut down) and Stars no longer having the money to televise, we have had little Karting on TV, i think its been

Rotax Euros on Raceworld
Kartmasters
Honda O Plate on World Motorsports
TKM Fest
London Cup *coming soon*

Over the years we have seen various types of Karting on TV. Stars - atmosphere but little racing,
Kartmasters - little Atmoshpere, full races.
MTV - a balance of both (just badly put together)

Which is the best style? Whats the best Karting you've seen on TV? How would you do it? Do you watch through a full 2 hour programme or would you prefer 1 hour shows? Does it matter what event is being covered?

Is MotorsTV really a good platform (for picture and Audio quality). Do people feel cheated when its shown on Sky and they dont have that platform. What about ITV4?

Please voice your Opinions.....I am not proposing to be the next Taddei, simply want to see Karting portrayed in the right way on TV next year, i think the best way would be to have a single programme, say 'Karting Fever' every Month at a set time and this shows the BEST racing from across the UK including the major 'O' events and Brit Champs.
