Interesting......it was the MSA clerk at Lydd and Bayford that told me £250..... £50 is still a bit strong, but I do admit there are a few Rotax and X30 nutters that seem to love thrashing the granny out of their karts for several minutes before they go on track.
As the converstation has veered away from the original topic.....to me it seems that everyone is now cool with the S1-IKR and MSA split up. I know loads of competitors planning on doing both championships.
John Hoyle is also now allowed to push the ROK engine with free tyres, I'm sure that will sell out in no time......also has done a nice pooled engine Prokart championship, I'm sure loads of Prokart drivers would love to do S1 and that will sell out no probs......it seems now the MSA are not holding back what S1 actually want to do and everyone is spreading their wings as a result.....so IKR and MSA will have to just co-exist.
But if you started your motor in the paddock at an IKR event, I'd like to think it won't cost £50!
