And THAT is the point that the MSA have deliberately and continually missed or ignored.

Their latest offering is irrefutable proof of that.

There is talent in the 'lower ranks' and a scheme like this could be a great way of highlighting a future champion who is on a very limited budget.

It would also give drivers something to aim at or gauge their progress on.

Your ideas Alan, highlight the glaringly obvious fact that the wrong people run karting. But we always knew that :)

I did save an article on a points system that might be of use. I'll try and find it but it was a long time ago.
