my understanding was ZIP first did them to help drivers achieve minimum weight.....the stub axle is rather heavy, so they drilled out the shaft......but then they started being sold as an apparent handling add-on for bumpy circuits where they would apparently flex more......we ran them both over a 2 year period and like Coach says, didnt feel a difference at all!.....spend the money on 1:1 driver tuition and you will find a lot more time.

The Synergy cadet chassis is an utterly quality piece of kit, to the point that after my eldest went u to Juniors in January I have kept our 2017 honda cadet chassis, mothballed it and it will come out again when my youngest lad turns 7 in Summer.
