Have you considered trying either Daytona or Club 100 first as they have suits and helmets available.
If you have a race suit and helmet that still fits then you should have no problem at any track on a test day as it is usually only at scrutineering before a race day that these are checked - you just need to be sure in your own mind that your gear is still safe to use.
