Just a thought .
I have been a member of Chkrc for several years and have always enjoyed racing at my local club .
Raced today and although some great racing in all classes , very well marshalled and overseen by new COC who demonstrated a clear understanding of the rules and importantly Kart racing , numbers were down , as most clubs have been over the last couple of years , llandow , rowrah , wombwell etc .
Do the MSA think that it’s time to make the British Kart championship a title worthy of its name .
You are only untitled to enter to race in the British championship ( possibly called S1 , if you have finished in the top 3 in your chosen club championship form the previous year , in your chosen class .
This would help clubs like my local club CHKRC survive with growing grids of local drivers keen to be prove by their ability to enter the British Kart championship.
Karting is sport many of us love , so surely this would help the small clubs which go to huge effort to put meetings on for us and in my opinion see the best kids nationally race to become MSA British Kart champion
