The OEKC British Endurance Kart Championship is looking for drivers teams to join their championship. There are 3 main classes:
1. Rotax Max Senior 2. Pro Max - Senior chassis with a junior Rotax Max engine (must be over 16 to race) 3. Open class - ideal for any type of pro kart, Biland etc
The races are 4.5 hours long with a 1 hour practice and 15 minutes qualifying which means a team gets 5 hours 45 minutes track time.
Entry fee is only £240 (70p a minute!)
4 drivers per team maximum and I'd suggest a team of 3/4 if it's your first endurance to spread the cost and driving long stints.
If you don't have your own equipment I can arrange race winning equipment (you will need to run yourselves on the day but the kart comes fully prepared) and there's plenty of help and advice available on race day.
If you would like to put a team together but don't have 3 other drivers then put a message on this thread and see if you can get some other karters together. I get a lot of enquiries from 1 or 2 people who want to go Endurance racing but can't find more drivers!
The OEKC has drivers aging from 16-60. The series has lots of S1 and ex S1 drivers, championship winners and drivers who have competed in various Motorsport disciplines.
Our remaining 5 races this year visit:
Clay Pigeon - 18th June (Saturday testing available on 17th) Lydd- 16 July Fulbeck- 13th August (Saturday testing available) Whilton Mill- 17th September Daytona Milton Keynes - 22nd October (we are the only non Daytona race series to race at this track!)
I'll help answer any questions or queries you might have on here. Check out www.oekc.co.uk for more info
