It is basically upto the drivers to be in there correct position on the roll up lap, there is usually a final post where a yellow flag is displayed and the place your in when you get there is where you race from. False starts are usually only given on P2 crossing the line before pole does the rest are reliant on the kart in fronts position. If the race went green and was run i wouldnt have thought the driver can be excluded or race false started after the event.Whilst timing will show when a kart crossed the line it is all upto the karts in front and how they accelerate. You shouldnt switch lanes before going over the start finish line but again this should be picked up by the starting marshall.
