My 9 year old son is due to take his Arks test in the next few weeks. He's been doing practice days and is now within 2-3 seconds of the average lap time.

I was wondering if his kart needed to be fully MSA compliant prior to him taking his test and also does he need to be within the minimum class weight as I'm sure he needs a few KG yet!

Any help appreciated
