Hi CC, I don't think PFI is the same, they discourage you not to cross the outside line as you end up on the blocked concrete whilst Whilton allow and encourage the drivers to get as close to the tires as possible. I've seen a few crashes like BD post which is not good as they have heavy impacts and potentially get thrown back onto the track.
