My original comment alluded to the video of Lewis Hamilton in cadets, great race, no contact, no gadget support in cameras or drop down bodywork. Also the rugby ref is never questioned, just accepted right or wrong. Bukc operate 30 plus karts in multiple races. Officials report in race, penalties are awarded in race and published in race to drivers via digital display which tends to cool them down in race. The main thread is in the above officials decisions are respected and accepted and not questioned. It is considered part of the sporting conduct not to question officials. Wrong or right decisions will balance out on time. I got my first black flag the other month, wrongly, the other driver involved couldn't see why I got the black flag. Others are you going to kick off to the clerk. No I said, better to make occasional wrong decisions than no decisions at all and it becomes a free for all. I have Marshalled from ikr to superone. Difficult at every level. Keep it simple. No artificial observation support droopy bumpers or cameras. Keep it raw observations from officials as in the lh cadet race. All drivers respect and accept officials decisions wrong or right. In race penalties Inc. Info. Of penalties to drivers in race would be good. In the end karting driving standards are not that bad, they could be better and controlled a better way. If I didn't race or mechanic for my lad I'd love to Marshall or clerk but preferably without all the appeal b**ls*t behind it. So ikr would be more attractive.
