Drop down noses are not a perfect solution but they have to be better than nothing. There is some really out-of-order stuff that goes on in Cadets at all levels and anything would be better than the current 'nothing'.

Personally, I blame the parents 100% for not self-policing and probably encouraging such behaviour. Win or lose, my boy and I ALWAYS have a laugh. We see plenty of other kids getting a talking to in parc ferme after another 'rubbish' or even 'absolutely disgusting' peformance (true), and that's just at club level. No wonder they go for a gap that isn't really there sometimes...

Perhaps these budding Ross Brawn's and Toto Wolff's should enter some senior races and show us all how it's done? I think they might find it a bit harder being on the sharp end...
