I was in a similar position this year been out for a good 10 years and jumped into Club 100 this year. I've now bought an easykart senior to race in next year.
Well worth having a look at Easykart, any questions pop onto the facebook page real helpful bunch.
If looking to do a test cant go wrong with Jack Dex in an X30/TKM
