Andy, were they genuine EBC?

There are plenty of fake pads out there, including EBC 540S ones and one set that was analysed actually contained a mixture of compressed grass and soil etc. (Chinese origin)

Manufacturers constantly battle with having their product;s quality attacked when they haven't actually made it.

People, and karters are no less susceptible, do like what they think is a bargain.

There are fake DID chains out there that have cracks in the plates radiating from the rivets because of dire manufacturing.

There are sprockets that are incredibly soft and no amount of lube will stop the teeth disappearing.

There are bearings that I wouldn't fit to a pensioner's shoppping trolly, let alone a kart, but people do.

And who can forget the Storm chassis where whole chunks broke off? Well yes, it is best forgotten.
