So we lasted the weekend at the Big Shenington Meeting.... the hanging around nearly got me!! Why did the club have to have racing over 2 days with just one extra class than the April meeting and cause the hanging around? In April there was more track time and I know there was 50 or so more drivers as OK were dropped in for Super 1 Why? but 7 minute heats and 8 minute final for an MSA Plate final?? the cost Ł100 for members with less track time than last year for instance Saturday this year 2 sessions of practice no 3 laps before racing !! plus no 3 laps on Sunday! so you normal club meeting is 6 sessions of practice 3 heats and a final this club meeting 2 sessions of practice and the 3 heats and a final for the same money...oh yes I forgot you get a pig roast roll included which we did stay for and that was very nice and I know there are other costs. So come on Shenington you have so much going for you as club but listen to what people want, its not 29 minutes of track for your elongated club meeting its value for money. I have been coming to Shenington for 10years plus both racing myself and now my lad and we want to continue!
